Freedoms Hall (sanctuary/concert hall/auditorium)

(includes use of Parlor and Green Room)

Facility capacity: 450  

Access: Hargett Street entrance

• Weekday Non-Wedding Rates (Monday – Thursday)    $600.00
Four-hour block
• Weekday Wedding Rates (Monday – Thursday)             $1,200.00
Three-hour block plus 1 hour rehearsal

• Weekend Rates (Friday – Sunday)               
 - Friday/Saturday evening (5:00 p.m. or later)                 $2,200.00
 - Saturday afternoon (12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.)                  $1,800.00
 - Saturday morning (11:30 a.m. or earlier)                         $1,400.00
 - Sunday (2:00 p.m. or later)      $1,200.00
  
*** Most Friday afternoons/early evenings typically reserved for wedding rehearsals;
     please inquire regarding availability. ***

*time frame is negotiable, typically a four-hour block.  Fees include: private dressing room, security, cleaning services, use of Baby Grand piano, sound system, 9-space parking lot reservation.  Wedding time frame includes 1 hour for Friday rehearsal and 3 hours for ceremony.

Rate for additional time is $95.00/hour, if available.

1880 Hall (including catering kitchen)


Facility capacity:  99

Location: lower level of Freedoms Hall at Hargett Street

• Monday - Thursday four-hour Rental Fee                              $ 400.00
• Monday – Thursday eight-hour Rental Fee                          $ 600.00
• Weekend four-hour Rental Fee (Friday – Sunday)             $ 600.00
• Wedding Reception (8 hour) Weekend Rental Fee * (Friday-Sunday)                                                                                              $ 800.00
            fee includes:   set up/break down of tables & chairs,  security, cleaning services, use of catering kitchen
(by preferred, contracted caterers only).  Each caterer needs adequate time/access to the Center for preparation; please inquire with them directly and include this time when determining your event arrival/departure times.

Conference Room

Facility capacity: 25 seated, 50 standing

Location: Main Level at North Carolina Hall via Person Street

• Full day rate: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.                                                   $175.00
• Half day rate: 8:00 a.m. – noon or 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.           $125.00

*time frame is negotiable.  Fees include: tables and chairs; dry erase board and markers; cork board; and Wi-Fi internet connection.  Does not include A/V equipment rental. 

Spiritual Room

Facility capacity: 18-26 seated, 10 kneeling

Location: upper level of Freedoms Hall via Hargett Street entrance

• Full day rate: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.                                                     $75.00
• Half day rate: 8:00 a.m. – noon or 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.              $50.00

* additional fee of $20.00 for table set up

Parlor

Facility capacity: 7-10 seated

Location: main level at Freedoms Hall

• Full day rate: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.                                                     $75.00
• Half day rate: 8:00 a.m. – noon or 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.              $50.00

Green Room

Facility Capacity: 10-15 seated

Location: main level of Freedoms Hall

• Full day rate: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.                                                     $75.00
• Half day rate: 8:00 a.m. – noon or 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.              $50.00

North Parking Lot

Capacity: 90 spaces

Location: across from Federal Courthouse at intersections of Person and Morgan Streets.  Access from Person and Blount Streets.

• Rate:                $    200.00**
** Entire lot rental is only available weekends; individual spaces are available hourly on weekdays and weekends through the Pay Station at Exploris/IMAX theater.
