Weddings, Worship & A Whole Lot More...
For almost 10 years, we have been the special, spiritual place to have a most elegant wedding in a non-demoninational setting that allows you complete creative license in designing a ceremony that is as unique as you are.
But did you know we also host a variety of special events including Concerts, Corporate Meetings, Receptions, Author Appearances, Lectures, Classes, and Art Exhibits? We are open 7 days a week to both public as well as private events.
The Sanctuary doubles as a classy Performance Hall with some of the best natural acoustics of any venue in the Triangle. Unlike most venues in the area, the Long View Center emphasizes the "Listening Room" atmosphere geared toward a more mature audience where there is no smoking and the music is never over-produced or too loud. Performances of all kinds can be found here: music, art, comedy, lectures, story telling, or political vigils.

Conference Rooms are available to any organization, no matter how large or small, public or private. Got a "Virtual Business" but lack a "Bricks and Mortar" space to host a luncheon, Power Point presentation, or lecture? No problem! Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the building; just bring your laptop computer. Because of our in the Heart-of-Raleigh downtown location, out-of-town visitors can easily conduct meetings or classes here just a short walk from hotels, restaurants or other places of business.
Our second-story Spiritual Room, filled with south-facing sun-filled stained glass windows, is home to a number of groups for meditation, prayer, or quiet reflection. Please check the Main Calendar if you would like to join one of these groups. This space may also serve as a unique break out room or other meeting space.
The lower level 1880 Hall is the site of a vast array of activity: art exhibitions, smaller-scale performances, corporate luncheons, yoga classes, and a whole host of receptions. This is our most utilitarian space within the LVC due to its attached catering kitchen, wide-open floor plan and private entrance from the rest of the Center.
The Green Room and Parlor, amongst others, serve as intimate Break Out Rooms for small-scale discussion of large-scale Lectures scheduled in the Performance Hall or 1880 Hall. Please consult with the Director for more information.
