LVC Visitor Lot

The Center has a free 2-hour weekday Visitor Parking Lot specifically for Guests of the LVC, or any of our tenant's guests, or for those setting up or breaking down for an event. It is located directly behind the Center off Person Street and provides access to our Business Entrance for the North Carolina Hall.

LVC North Lot

The North Lot is located behind Marbles'/Exploris' IMAX Theater.  There are two entrances to this lot; off Morgan Street at Blount St, directly behind IMAX; or across from the Court House off Person Street between Hargett and Morgan Streets.

Please note!   Individual spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis for $1.00/hour, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.  The pay station is located toward the middle of the lot near the entrance to the IMAX Theater.

The other spaces are  clearly marked as unavailable Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-6:00 pm, as these space are leased monthly to various tenants and city workers. 

Please note the signage at each stall and be advised that Towing is Strictly Enforced.

Blount St Parking Deck

Out-of-Town Visitors may prefer to use this Deck as it is easy to find and accommodates 600 vehicles.  The entrance is on Blount St, directly across from Marbles/Exploris Museum, and just South of the Morgan St/Blount St intersection.  Parking is hourly weekdays and an attendant is on duty Monday through Friday 7:30 am-7:30 pm.  Parking is generally free all day Saturday and Sunday.

City Market Lot

This lot is located across Moore Square on Martin St, just one block from LVC.   Monday through Friday from 7:00am-10:00pm.  Cost is $1.00/ hour; maximum charge is $5.00/day, payble at the Pay Station,  Monday-Friday from 7:00 am-10:00 pm.

On-Street Parking

There are a number of metered spaces across Hargett St by the LVC Guest entrance and along Person St.  These spaces are available for 2 hours on weekdays; spaces are free after 5:00 pm and on the weekends.
